Nice job on the video. I live 5 miles from the start in Hollis. I just got back into off road riding since 2005. I got a 2021 DR650 and have only done a small section of the Hampster ride. I combined it with the Flatlander and the tomato rides to make a nice 100 miles loop back to Hollis.

Perfect example why you should learn to ride a dirt bike before trying to tackle adventure bikes offroad. Ophir is an easy pass compared to most CO passes. Glad he made it, but he was just one wrong move from going over the edge.

Very painfull to watch such riding inexperince by the guy on the Triumph.

At first I was baffled…five alarms for a single structure? But then I saw that there were two. I grew up in Lowell and saw some of the major fires in the 70s. It’s a shame so many stations are now closed. Thought maybe that had something to do with it.

I used the Turn By Turn PDF on the site below and loaded it in MapSource. Took about three hours and it wasn’t exactly perfect but, not bad. I’m sure there’s an easier way to download the GPS file but it was above my pay grade. 😀 bmwmov.club/rides/puppy-dog/

how are you guys finding turn by turn? I tried this route last week and it took me 8hrs to do maybe 50 miles! any audio turn by turn? was looking to do more this weekend but stopping every 10 mins was ridiculous.ended up at the abandoned motel off missing link road and chatting with the owner for a bit.downloaded every damn app I could but still couldnt get turn by turn... any help out there fellow riders?

Not really sure what version it was. I found a turn by turn print out and mapped it in MapSource. The mud was about a half mile from the rocky section. Very thankful to whoever put this together, awesome time!

Good video. The guy on the Tiger sketched me out a bit at times. Props to him. I rode Ophir on my 990 several years back and it can get kind of rock slidish in spots.

Nice job. We did Ophir last summer. That downhill is sketchy on a big bike . Engineer and cinnamon were easy compared to the two mile stretch coming down Ophir .
